Stratham

For the second year in a row, a coalition of Stratham organizations are ensuring a meaningful acknowledgment and celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday in Stratham.  



 

Manchester - Currier Museum

Join us for a special and free celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from 11 am to 3 pm on Monday, January 15 with a variety of free programming and community building.

Learn more about the Currier's diverse collection with curator-led tours and collaborate on artmaking activities, including paper bead creation and responsive exercises rooted in the teachings of Dr. King.

There will also be special spoken word performances by The Racial Unity Team of NH, as well as a screening of Dr. King’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech.


 

Portsmouth

 Join us as we honor one of our civil rights heroes, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Our annual MLK Breakfast is a special time with speakers and entertainment, focused on celebrating MLK’s life and legacy. The event takes place on January 15, 2024 beginning at 8:30 am,  at South Church, 292 State St.  Portsmouth NH 





 

Manchester - Community

  This annual MLK Jr Community Celebration returns for its 42nd year! This year, the program will include breakout groups to connect you with groups living MLK Jr's vision here in New Hampshire. You can learn how they embody his legacy and also join their work.
